Republican Jim Greenfield will run in CD1 primary to replace Wu

The Beaverton Valley Times and the Oregonian are reporting that Jim Greenfield will be running as a Republican candidate in the 1st Congressional District primary, to replace David Wu. Greenfield ran as the Republican candidate against David Wu in 2002.

His press release states that he plans to run an active special primary race against fellow Republican Rob Cornilles.

According to a 2002 AP article, Jim Greenfield ran no visible campaign and raised only about $2,600.
