New Cornilles ad contrasts job creator with partisan politican

Cornilles for Congress

BEAVERTON, OR – Today, the Cornilles for Congress campaign released a new ad, titled “Change We Need.” The 30-second television spot, which is airing on Portland broadcast stations, contrasts Rob Cornilles’ experience as a job creator with that of Sen. Bonamici, a partisan politician who, according to Willamette Week, has “no record of job creation.”

The ad also cites The Oregonian, which reported that Sen. Bonamici has “one of the most liberal voting records in Salem” and “can’t recall ever voting against a tax increase or fee hike.”

Rob is what we need, a businessman as opposed to another lawyer.  Plain and simple!!

Yes, and someone who will get government out of the way. No help needed – just stand back.

Nice ad Rob…it really tells the story of what a total wimp Bonamici is. Maybe you’ve only created 60 jobs but that’s 60 jobs more than Bonamici and there’s no telling how many jobs she has eliminated by voting for more and bigger government.

I appreciate the ad but lets face it, you don’t go into government to create jobs. I do get worried that this stress on electing those who have created jobs in the past leads to the belief that government is the job creator.

It’s a dangerous connection as a society where government is looked to as the job creator is a very dangerous society as history shows.

I appreciate what Cornilles is trying to say here, and God knows we don’t need yet another wacko liberal from Oregon in congress. However I do worry that the  populous is starting to look more and more to government to get us out of a mess that was largely the creation of excessive government involvement in the first place.
