Oregon Catalyst is now on Politics in Stereo for the “From the Right” perspective for Oregon.

Politics in Stereo shows the latest political news by state, with a view from the left, a non-partisan (but not necessarily non-biased!) view and a view from the right, to let readers get the full picture of what’s happening.

Nathan Gonzales is Founder and Publisher of Politics in Stereo. He’s also Deputy Editor of The Rothenberg Political Report and a Contributing Writer for Roll Call, the Capitol Hill newspaper. Gonzales has also worked at CNN and with ABC News and, in his words, he’s “been involved in the media long enough to realize that people don’t trust it.”

Wow, Id never heard of Politics in Stereo but it sounds like a great idea. Personally I tend to get most of my news from left wing sources because frankly its more intellectually stimulating to hear news from an opposing point of view rather than a perspective I agree with.

It sounds like Politics in Stereo has this same sort of idea. Its a constructive notion. I think if people would hear the news from a different perspective it would give them a better basis to either defend their idea, or change their mind. Either one of those outcomes would be a vast improvement over the current dialectic (sorry just had to throw in a little Cornell West there)

I too hadn’t heard of Politics in Stereo. I often forget to check out BlueOregon so perhaps this new link will help me remember to examine what “the other side” is saying.
