Gingrich drops out of presidential race

Newt Gingrich thb Gingrich drops out of presidential race

by NW Spotlight

The Hill is reporting that Newt Gingrich is dropping out of the presidential race today. Gingrich did not give his endorsement to Mitt Romney, but he did indicate he felt Mitt Romney was a much better choice than Barack Obama.

Gingrich said “I’m asked sometimes, is Mitt Romney conservative enough. And my answer is simple: ‘Compared to Barack Obama?’”, and Gingrich said the election was not “a choice between Mitt Romney and Ronald Reagan, it’s a choice between Mitt Romney and the most radical leftist president in American history.”

With Gingrich dropping out, only Mitt Romney and Ron Paul remain as Republican presidential candidates.

Newt has been way to too soft on ILLEGAL immigration.

I do like his style, though, to fill in for vacancies attending William F. Buckley or Louis Rukeyser

One more out of the way so Ron Paul can rightfully be president.

Look at those Delegates roll in!

This will get rid of the Department of the Interior, Department of Education, The Department of Energy, HUD, & Department of Commerce. All needed to reduce regulations and get the economy back on track.

It will also begin to lay grounds to remove Unenumerated taxation, such as the income tax; Including other unenumerated flat percentage taxes, tax fees & forced tax debt created by Union controlled Maximum wages & benefits, Government Corporate contracts  that encourage and perpetuate wasteful self serving bureaucracies.

Here is why this is needed:

Ron Paul is not going to be the Republican nominee.  Nor, if he runs as an independent, is he going to be President.  Neither a majority of Republicans, nor a majority of Democrats, are lgoing to vote for him.  No one is “rightfully” president until after the vote of the electoral college has been certified (or whatever they do).  Since we do not have an aristocracy, there is no such thing as “rightfull” before the fact.  If there was such a thing, then we would all be saying President Kucinich.  ;)

My God 3, something we agree on. No way will Ronny be president but you libs I’m sure are hoping that he’ll make an independent run. Ron Paul running as an independent is the only way Barry Obozo can beat Mitt Romney. It would be 1992 deja vu when Ross Perot helped elect Bill Clinton.

And look how well the economy did.  ;)

It’s kind of too bad. Im not sure Id want Gingrich as president, but I certainly like him in the debates. Newt at least had ideas. Some crazy ideas, some good ones. However Newt always provided some intellectual stimulation in that he thought outside the box and challenged the press to do the same. BO and Romney? Not so much.

How strange is it to have announced last week that he’d announce this week that he was dropping out.

Eventually, some candidate is going to announce that next week they’re going to announce that next month they will announce that next year they will announce that they’re running for President in the next election cycle.

    STOP THE MADNESS!

I’m announcing that I will announce next week that I will ignore all future announcements from announcers.

      • 3H

I’m announcing that next week I’m going to announce that two weeks ago that I had an announcement that in a week I would have a further announcement about asubsequent announcement at a time to be determined.

This is Newt you;re talking about. He has his own demented way of doing things.
