PolitiFact on Kate Brown: Mostly False

Kate Brown likes to claim in her speeches around the state that she does three jobs for the price of one, compared to our neighbor to the north, Washington.

She makes the same claim on Oregon’s Secretary of State web site: “Our Secretary of State does three jobs in one! In this interview, Kate describes her role as head of the Agency.”

But even the left-leaning PolitiFact said that’s “Mostly False”: “…the statement that she does three jobs for the price of one ignores some critical facts that would give a different impression. We rate this claim Mostly False.”

This just isn’t Kate Brown’s year.
