Let the consumer decide

In June, we told you about [1] the case of Adam Sweet, a Portland college student who was trying to earn a living with his moving company, and how state law made that almost impossible. Now, some good news.

On January 14th, Adam and his public interest law firm, Pacific Legal Foundation [2], organized a “Caravan for Freedom” around the State Capitol, and on January 21st a federal judge in Oregon blocked the state’s attempt to throw Adam’s case out of court without a trial.
