HB 3237 is up for a 3:00 hearing on Friday. Hidden inside the amendments is language to water down the warning people recieve on their ballots about tax elections. It would change from saying that the ballot conatins a vote on a tax increase to something more obscure like… contains vote on renewal of local option tax. If you care about honesty and clarity in government you should oppose this amendment.
