Friedman Legacy for Freedom Day to Be Celebrated Here in Oregon July 31!

Celebrations of Milton Friedman’s vision of educational choice for all children will be held in 42 states and the District of Columbia July 31!

July 31, 2009 would have been Milton Friedman’s 97th birthday. Now, more than ever, we need his vision. To honor the impact he has had on our society, and to help clarify his moral framework for freedom and free enterprise, we will celebrate the Friedman Legacy for Freedom in partnership with the Friedman Foundation for Educational Choice. Our Keynote Speaker will be State Representative Matt Wingard.

Friday, July 31, 12:00 PM — 1:30 PM
McMenamin’s Kennedy School Gymnasium
