NY Times: Obama “misspoke” about keeping health insurance you like

by NW Spotlight

On Sunday the NY Times ran an editorial that said that “Mr. Obama clearly misspoke” when he made the pledge that if you like the insurance you have, you can keep it. The NY Times goes on to defend Obamacare, and calls people pointing out that reality is not matching what President Obama pledged: an “overblown controversy,” stoked by Congressional Republicans.

Another New York publication, New York magazine, has compiled this video of President Obama making his pledge.

Which New York publication has it right? Did President Obama tell Americans something that wasn’t true (over and over), or did he just “misspeak”?
