Former NFL Quarterback Drew Bledsoe and Left Tackle Ken Ruettgers Host Fundraiser for Jason Conger

The Jason Conger for U.S. Senate campaign is beefing up for the NFL Draft and the May 20th Republican Party. We are proud to announce that former New England Patriots Quarterback Drew Bledsoe and Green Bay Packer Tackle Ken Ruettgers will be hosting a fundraiser for U.S. Senate candidate Jason Conger on the evening of April 9th in Bend.

The former first round draft pick for the New England Patriots and four-time Pro Bowl selection Drew Bledsoe knows what it takes to win. He guided the Patriots into to playoffs four times in six seasons. He also knows what it takes to succeed in business and create jobs. He’s one of the founders of the award-winning Doubleback Winery and is owner of Bledsoe Capitol. He’ll be talking about all this and why he supports Jason Conger in the Oregon race for the U.S. Senate.

Ken Ruettgers was selected by the Green Bay Packers 7th overall in the 1985 draft. He was named the Packer’s Offensive MVP in 1989, became a Super Bowl champion in 1996, and was inducted to the Packer hall of fame in 2013. Ken’s success and leadership did not end when he retired from football. He went on to found Games Over, a non-profit that helps athletes overcome the challenges of retirement. In 2007 he graduated from Oxford Graduate School in Tennessee with a doctorate in sociology and now teaches at the Central Oregon Community College.
