Oregon’s Republican primary race for U.S. Senate made the Wall Street Journal late yesterday. The article by Fred Barnes, with the subtitle “Republicans in Washington [D.C.] picked an ‘electable’ primary candidate. They may need to rethink what that means,” describes the race between the two high profile candidates Rep. Jason Conger and Monica Wehby.

Between the two, I believe the doctor Monica Wehby would be stronger. Building a non-corruptable faction is important. Conger
has already voted many times against Constitutional oriented Government. While I followed Jason, Republicans must start pushing back and putting items on the table, not just cut and run.

I’ll support either against Merkley, but disagree on Conger and think he’d be the stronger candidate. Conger may have made a bad decision or two, but on balance he’s been a plus. The only reason no one can point to bad votes cast by Wehby is because she’s never held elected office. Elect her to something like the Oregon House or Senate and find out what she’s really made of before moving her up to the US House or Senate.

One, two, three strikes attending the lout and Conger better change party’s like the horse kicked in the head Wayne Morse or less.

…Wayne Morse or less, OFF COURSE!

Considering Ms Wehby is supported by GOP establishment strategists, who say Wehby is “a less conservative candidate and is more electable”, should get voters attention. The NRSC also supports Wehby. Remember them? They quickly got behind Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio who not only lost badly to Rubio, but is now running for Governor as a Democrat. I don’t think Conger is a “perfect” candidate, but he has my vote.

Your ‘Conger’ line is danc’n toward the left which ‘Stars’ a RINOceratops as better than some Malarkeysauer on the US Senate dalliance Floor.

Agreed, Oregonians deserve better – yet as a michael moore lease-ambivalent RINO, Conger ought change party affiliation and go after the dipterous seats of Earl Blumenauer or Suzanne Bonamici therewith gliberal sins they bow tie-ox unto.

As for Monica Wehby, her common sense say is the best way to assay.
