YOUNG OR OLD, IT’S TIME TO TAKE CHARGE.

Whether you are a student activist or an experienced one, you won’t want to miss Western Liberty Network’s Second Annual Youth Conference and Expo! Themed “PASSING THE TORCH!”, the conference will offer training on:

1. How Young People Can Serve in Public Office NOW
2. How Traditional Activists Can Attract Youth Involvement
3. How Activists of EVERY AGE Can Be More Effective
The conference will start at 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 24, at the Valley River Inn in Eugene located at 1000 Valley River Way. Also participating in or sponsoring the conference are Sam Carpenter, Oregon Capitol Watch, Cascade Policy Institute, Project Liberty, and the National Association of Parliamentarians. There will be 15 breakout sessions where you can learn about everything listed above! There will be panel discussions, and featured speakers including an NSA whistleblower, student leaders, and a current school board member who was elected at age 18!
At 7:30PM on the night before the conference there will be a party with hot appetizers, live music, and good company at the conference hotel. BONUS TRAINING AVAILABLE! Le and Ann Snelling of Revolutionary Persuasion will be offering free private public speaking training. Time slots are limited so sign up for one at the conference when you arrive! Also, if you want to learn how to lead or participate in official meetings governed by Robert’s Rules of Order, you can take the National Association of Parliamentarians exam. The pool of questions from which the exam questions are taken, along with study materials, are available on the Western Liberty Network website!
TICKETS ARE ONLY $50 and include a hot breakfast, hot lunch, training packet, badge, and admission to all events. LODGING IS AVAILABLE AT A SPECIAL GROUP RATE if you secure your lodging when you register on-line for the conference.

This will be the premiere youth and activist training conference in Oregon for 2014! You’ll get practical training that will make you more effective as an activist and prepare you to take the offensive in your community and in the current election cycle.
