Dr. Monica Wehby for U.S. Senate
Will discuss solutions for the problems facing the VA
Portland – Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Monica Wehby will appear in Oregon City on Wednesday to share ideas for how the VA can better take care of our country’s veterans.
Wehby has firsthand experience as an intern, junior resident and chief resident at the VA during her residency and training to become a neurosurgeon. During this time she developed an intricate knowledge of the operations of the VA, which inform her proposed solutions on how to get better care for our country’s veterans.
“Because I had the privilege of caring for our veterans during my neurosurgical training, I have an understanding of the difficulties within the VA system” said Wehby. “We must assure that those who have sacrificed so much for our country have access to high quality medical care.”
Dr. Monica Wehby is currently the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Monica has nearly 30 years of experience formulating medical policy and is a mother of four.
