House District 51 Candidate And Happy Valley Resident Highlighted By Republican State Leadership Committee

SALEM, OR – In an election year with 558 new female candidates running as Republicans for state-level races across the nation, the Republican State Leadership Committee’s “Right Women, Right Now” initiative announced House District 51 Candidate Jodi Bailey as one of the “14 in ’14” races to watch this election cycle.

“I’m honored to be highlighted in a year in which there are so many intelligent, accomplished and qualified women candidates running for office,” said Bailey. “Oregonians want stable, family-wage jobs, excellence in education for their children, and efficient and effective government. Our campaign is working incredibly hard and we look forward to bringing our message to the families in House District 51.”

In her first run for public office, Jodi Bailey has gained a reputation as an impressive, hard-working and competitive candidate that will bring fresh and commonsense ideas to the Oregon House of Representatives. As a mother of three, Jodi wants to ensure that the education Oregon students receive translates into a productive and secure future. She is passionate in her desire to strengthen vocational, technological and manufacture training within Oregon’s high schools and community colleges, and she knows that thousands of family-wage jobs are sitting vacant due to a lack of focus on skills training.

As Membership Director of the Building A Better America Council (BBAC) and President of American Spirit Consulting, Jodi strives to promote American businesses and products. Her focus on the construction and natural resource industries has helped promote the 2014 NW Natural Street of Dreams, located in Happy Valley where she resides with her family.
