The White House is announcing [2] that “tomorrow night, President Obama will address the nation to lay out the executive actions he’s taking to fix our broken immigration system.”
The Washington Post found yesterday [3] that President Obama had flip-flopped on using executive action on illegal immigration, and gave him their Upside-Down Pinocchio rating for his “clear but unacknowledged ‘flip-flop’ from a previously-held position.” The article recalled Obama’s Jan 2013 comment “I think it is important to remind everybody that, as I said I think previously, and I’m not a king. I am the head of the executive branch of government. I’m required to follow the law.”
