Kate Brown is now Oregon Governor

Democrat Kate Brown was sworn in this morning as the new Oregon Governor. She replaces fellow Democrat John Kitzhaber, who resigned amidst a cloud of federal and state investigations.

Brown had been serving as the Oregon Secretary of State.

    I hope she and her Dem cohorts are serious about being bi-partisian. And that they (Dems and GOP) are not just planning on more spending and taxes. Controlling current spending is more important.

      She can display some right minded cojones by vetoing the obnoxious carbon tax grab d’oh ball bill – butt, she’s no Betsy Johnson, IMO, a worthy SOS candidate for tearing down a Bill Bradbury clownery and restoring bi-partisan common sensory to clear minded folks who’re not in league with ‘organized’ crime infesting a Tom McCall reckoned Oregon. .
