Exec. Club 5/6: Kevin Starrett, Recall petition, Gun bill

strett-kevin [1]Executive Club Meeting
7:00 pm • Wed. May 6th
Portland Airport Shilo Inn

Our speaker, Kevin Starrett of the Oregon Firearms Federation

The plot thickens, and our speaker is stirring the pot!  Recall petitions have been filed against three liberal Democrat legislators who support SB941, the so-called “universal” background check bill (where “universal” means “except for criminals”, naturally)

Unless we can push hard enough to give pause to vulnerable Democrats who would really not feel the heat from NRA, OFF, and every gun owner
in the state for the rest of their limited time in Salem. You know that means you need to call your representative, right? To make the point that SB941 is a BAD IDEA, punishing the law-abiding while not keeping a single gun out of the hands of any criminal.

That means TODAY!

Liberal Democrat Freshman Senator Chuck Riley (SD-15 Hillsboro),recently elected after radical leftist Michael Bloomberg pumped $600,000 into Oregon to topple Republican 2nd amendment defenders, is facing a recall effort initiated by his constituent Ben Busch of Hillsboro.

Liberal Democrat Freshman Representative Susan McLain (HD-29 Hillsboro) is also facing recall initiated by Ben Busch.

For liberal Democrat Representative Val Hoyle (HD-14 Junction City), support for SB941 is just another in a string of bad votes.

She voted for the CRC, Driver’s Licenses for illegals, and Cover Oregon, too. She is facing a recall petition started by gun shop owner Jason Thiesfeld of Junction City. Her response? “[A] fringe group has started a recall effort against me….” Yeah, some fringe group, eh? Includes the founders of the United States, Val, who rose up together and wrote that…the right to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

Our speaker Kevin Starrett was at the war room Thursday, doing his part.

So, do your part.

Call your representative, read the riot act to your senator if he voted for SB941, and then join us Wednesday night to plan the next move.

It’ll make your eyes twitch. That’s a good, Eastwood thing.
