Huffman challenges Wyden to debate in every county
Jim Huffman Press Release

Republican nominee for U.S. Senate Jim Huffman challenged his opponent, Ron Wyden, to debate him in every county in Oregon in a letter sent to Wyden’s Washington DC office this week.”In the spirit of your long standing commitment to visiting every county every year, I offer to join you for debate and discussion with Oregon voters in every county between now and November 2nd, Huffman wrote. “It will provide voters in every corner of the state with an unprecedented opportunity to express their concerns, hear our views, and weigh the relative merits of our two candidacies,” explained Huffman, a constitutional scholar and former dean of Lewis & Clark Law School.

Why on earth would he send campaign correspondence to his Senate staff? Someone need a little on-the-job training.

  • Bob Clark

Hopefully, Wyden will accept some early debates in the campaign season. This would help give some momentum to Huffman if he’s successful in the early debates. It’s been a long, long time since Wyden had to take on a serious debating opponent like Huffman. Smith wasn’t the same type of challenger. So, come to think of it not sure Wyden has ever had such creditable opponent.

    This should be good.

Rob Cornilles should make the same offer to Woeful Wu.

Oh come on, 36 debates. This would get old pretty damn quickly, and by end they could trade places and give each other’s speeches. This is just a dumb ploy to make it seem like Ron is out of touch. If Hoffman, is such a top notch debater, he wouldn’t need that many to show that he better suited for DC than Ron.

  • Hopeful

Hopefully the hair lipped Senator will accept the challenge, unless he’s afraid he’ll be tongue tied. Wyden has become part of the corrupt DC system and its time for that wascally wabbit to retire…………..or be retired.
