Taxpayers Association of Oregon picks Willis to take on Schrader

Stayton, OR — Yesterday, the Taxpayer Association of Oregon, a prominent taxpayer watchdog group in the state of Oregon, endorsed Colm Willis in the Republican primary for Congressional District 5.

“Oregonians in the 5th District are tired of being represented by tax and spend career politicians. Taxes are just too high and we need to stop the federal government from taking more of our hard-earned dollars. I’m proud to stand with the Taxpayers Association of Oregon. As your congressman, I will work to keep your money in your pocket and out of the hands of big government.”

Colm Willis is a native Oregonian, a husband and father of two daughters, and a small business lawyer in Stayton. Willis previously served as the political director of Oregon Right to Life and as an aide to the Joint Economic Committee in the U.S. Senate. He attended Willamette University College of Law where he earned the Civil Rights Award and graduated first in his class as valedictorian.

Willis is a Republican candidate for Congress in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District. The primary will be held on May 17, 2016.
