Poetic Justice at NPR

How refreshing to hear that NPR executive Ellen Weiss has resigned and will not be receiving her bonus. As you may remember, she phone-fired Juan Williams for simply mentioning that he would feel nervous on a plane with people in Muslim garb.

Mr. Williams was promptly given a 2 million dollar contract to appear on the Fox News Channel.

This is poetic justice. Political correctness run amok. Cowardly firings over the phone. The result: a career NPR employee since 1982 now unemployed and the evil, bad man who simply stated his feelings with a 2 million dollar contract and a much, much bigger audience.
