Lars Larson to interview President Bush?

KXL has been announcing that today Lars Larson will be interviewing a “breakthrough” guest today at a special location. The fact that Lars has interviewed many of the top presidential candidates (Giuliani, Romney, etc.) and top presidential cabinet members (Rumsfeld, Tony Snow, etc.) has left many to speculate that Lars will be interviewing the President of the United States. Or maybe the VP?

With Lars’ popularity spreading across the country like the Barred Owl habitat, it could be anyone. Tune in today to find out.

    If this is true, well then it is about time!

    The Prez. speaking to talk radio is a perfect way to reach the public directly without a media filter. The questions will be more difficult, but you can’t be Commander in Chief without being able to defend your ideas. Bush being in front of such hosts will make him stronger. Bush oughta be interviewing twice a year with guys like Lars which has a wide and deep national reach.

    Sure enough — Lars just said, on air that:

    He met with President Bush in the Oval Office three or four hours ago.

    He was there with nine or so other radio hosts. They discussed the War on Terror, and other such issues.
