YouTube: S-CHIP and Measure 50

Below is a video I stumbled on while browsing the internets. Congress has lately spent a good deal of its remaining mental capacity working to expand SCHIP, a government funded health care program. The discussion has striking relevance to Oregon’s Measure 50 discussion, both fund health care on the backs of tobacco smokers. It is well worth a watch, both for quality of argument and production.

He’s absolutely right. SCHIP shouldn’t be financed by a tax on smokers. It should be financed by a tax on the profits of Halliburton, KBR, and Blackwater and other “defense” contractors. We’ll NEVER have a shortage of wars!

I thought this SCHIP had already sailed…

Okay, now can we say Universal Health Care. Who is it that is running for President and who is it that pushed UHC and failed? by the way, why did it fair? That’s right each of those pesky States have a Constitution of their own. Well now we can surcumvent their Constitution by attacking a nasty habit and pay for it this way.

Look up how may healthykids.*.org agencies are out their and read carefully their mission statements. Why are they not using Title XXI for their funding?

This is how UHC will be funded if we don’t do something about it.
Can we say welcome Canada and Europe Health Care?
