The Oregon House Republican Caucus has tapped two state representatives for leadership: Rep. Cliff Bentz [2] (R-Ontario) and Rep. John Davis [3] (R-Wilsonville). The two will serve as Assistant Republican Leaders. Previously, Rep. Jason Conger had been the sole Assistant Republican Leader. Rep. Conger announced in October [4] that he is running for the U.S. Senate.
Rep. Wally Hicks was elected caucus whip [5] for the 2014 session a month ago, replacing Rep. Vicki Berger (R-Salem) – who announced in October [6] she wouldn’t be seeking re-election.
