Wes Lemetta passed away [1] this week at 82. Oregon has lost one of its best entrepreneurs and champions of freedom. Lematta helped donate to many free enterprise causes, organizations and ballot measures in Oregon. He also was a big supporter of many charities such as Legacy Meridian Park Hospital, Providence Hospital and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Even during this current painful recession where his company saw many cut-backs Lematta still reached deep to help these charities. He will be missed.
