Oregon must reject California’s Carbon Tax poverty machine

Please help oppose HB 2020 the Oregon Carbon Tax.

As you know, California has a Carbon Tax and it caused gas prices and utility rates to soar. This contributed to California being rated the #1 poverty state in America. Now Oregon wants to follow California’s lead. HB 2020 is expected to increase gas prices by 16-cents and utility prices by as much as 53%.   The Oregon politicians admit this tax will hit people hard that they amended the bill to include poverty rebate vouchers for poor people hurt by the gas and utility price spikes they admit will happen.

Please call your lawmaker 1-800-332-2313 to oppose HB 2020.

Oregon lawmakers’ Legislative Session is set to close within 20 days, so there is a good chance this massive Carbon Tax poverty factory machine HB 2020 will die. Your call could make the difference!

Please call your lawmaker at the Capitol switchboard 1-800-332-2313 and ask to speak to your State Representative. Once connected tell your State Representative’s office kindly that you oppose HB 2020 the Carbon Tax.
