‘End America’ and other obscenities from the Portland riot

Anarchist and Antifa protestors held a “Days of Rage” riot in the Portland South Blocks on Columbus Day weekend.

They toppled a statue of Abraham Lincoln.

Next to Lincoln’s toppling was anti-police signs and a symbol recently used by COMMUNIST in the 9/24 anarchist protest (bottom right).

The Historical Society had all their front windows blown apart.  An ignited flare was thrown inside which could have burned the building down. 

.

The vandals wrote “F*ck history” on the front of the Historical Society.

.

Teddy Roosevelt was toppled that night as well.

.

Across from the toppled Teddy Roosevelt, vandals attacked the Portland Art Museum and wrote “F*ck Columbus” across the front.

Not even a tree near the toppled Lincoln would be spared as the vandals wrote “F*ck 12” (police reference).

Everything in the area was vandalized with “Stolen land” and “land back” scrawling.

It wouldn’t be an Antifa and anarchist protest without a big display of “All Cops Are Bastards” messages.

Black Lives Matters vandalism was also present.

Finally, here is what an open business (note the open sign) looks like across the street from the crime scene.

This is how downtown Portlanders live.

Final note.

I made sure to rush at first light this morning to take these photos before the 9:00AM graffiti removal team began removing all the vandalism.

At the time, I saw a woman thank a police officer for walking her to her car because she did not feel safe walking downtown, even in broad daylight.

That to me best explains the utter horror many Downtown Portlanders feel about living in a city of constant riots.

If I did not take these photos early in the morning many of these outrageous messages (“End America” and “F*ck History”) and photos of the destruction would have vanished from the crime scene.

Please, don’t be a bystander.  Be a champion and support the Taxpayer Association of Oregon’s 130 day original reporting and original photography on the Portland Riots.
