The first job of government is public safety. The current budget fails to provide even minimal 24/7 coverage of Oregon’s highways.
HB 3535 is scheduled for a public hearing in the Ways and Means Public Safety Subcommittee this Tuesday, May 29th.
This is the last chance to pass HB 3535, which will dedicate 1 percent of General Fund Revenues to the OSP Patrol Division (Troopers). This means 24/7 coverage of Oregon’s highways…
