Senator Bruce Starr on Revenue Forecast

Below is press release from Senator Bruce Starr 11/20/07:

Salem, OR — The December revenue forecast was released Tuesday morning, predicting a minor increase of $22 million in the resources collected from personal incomes for this budget cycle. State Senator Bruce Starr (R-Hillsboro) had this to say:

“Oregon has over one billion dollars more to spend this budget cycle, which is more than enough to fund the priorities important to Oregonians. The 2008 legislative session should focus on rooting out waste and making government accountable for its spending, not finding new ways to tax Oregon families.”
