Huge 2-page color newspaper ad celebrates end of prohibition

This 2-page multi-color ad appeared in The Oregonian today celebrating December 5th as repeal day to honor the repeal of the alcohol prohibition in 1933. The ad was put out by Dewar’s Whisky. See their fancy website here.
What a great reminder of a day when government went too far.
How telling it is to see this ad come out when we are at a time of new prohibitions (trans fat, etc.)
