Funniest comment: At the swearing in, you go into the house of representatives, raise your right hand and are sworn in. You look around and think to yourself “man, how did I get here?” Later on, you will be wondering “man, how did THEY get here?”

Second funniest comment (in reference to running a campaign) “If you think running a campaign is expensive, you should try bad government”

Shock’s Bill test: Asking ourselves, “does this increase individual liberty?” should be the basis for passing legislation. “Does this create more economic freedom or more dependency?”

Wisdom: “When we use bold and clear communication, we shouldn’t be surprised when we are successful”
