Media rejects Bruun attack. So liberals pay for ads to look like media attack.

The attached piece by FuturePAC and Michele Eberle is hilarious. After nine hit pieces distorting Bruun’s record on abortion and stem cells as well as an incredible backlash from the media (Willamette Week, Oregonian, and West Linn Tidings) they now resort to taking out an ad made to look like a news story to prop up their dishonest and disingenuous campaign.

    Where did this ad appear?

By law advertisements must be labeled as such. The practice of placing an ad that looks like a news story is not uncommon (look in the first section of the O and you’ll see several), but they must be labelled as advertisements. The word “Advertisement” always appears at the top of the ad. I’ve placed “newsvertisements” myself and have never been able to do it without the “advertisement” disclaimer at the top of the ad.

    That is pretty sad…
What’s even more sad is that many people will probably be mislead into believing this is an actual article, and if it does have a disclaimer, I’m sure they made it as tiny as legally possible.
I hope voters will read some of these articles and restrain themselves from voting for someone who likes to manipulate and deceive people.
We have enough dishonest politicians already.
