The Oregonian stops daily delivery in Eugene

The Willamette Week reports that The Oregonian has stopped daily delivery in Eugene. Thsi si one of many cost saving measures introduced recently — including occassionaly merging the Metro section in the main page and raising the street price to 75 cents.

This has been a tough year for them, but I am sure they will survive.
