With a “mob” of such brobdingnagian proportions, the French revolution could have been over in a day!! Who could have resisted the blue haired grannies when they were beaten back by all the walking frames. Why, just think of it, the government would have been quaking in their palaces. They would have given up without so much as a whimper.
Does any buy this bunk the DNC is putting out?

HAHAHAHA…I don’t think I’ve ever laughed at an ad so hard in my life!!!!
Funny when Mom and Pop finally get off the couch for the first time to tell their Gov’t that they aren’t going to take the tax increases , bailouts, social give aways anymore sitting down. ALL of a sudden they are the ‘MOB’…
Funny the social liberals, ACORN, Gov’t hand out groups can protest with their manufactured signs but take the retired, worked for their money, still working crowd protesting higher taxes and they are called a Mob..
Gov’t needs to get us jobs not destroy them….tax breaks…keep business in the US.

This is the best ad ever for the Republican party. It shows the incredible arrogance of the mentality of the left in its most raw and vicious form. I’m sure more than a few snicker at all the self righteous folks who apparently ripped the “Dissent is Patriotic” bumper stickers off their cars then minute the “Obama ’08” sticker became a reality.

Keep it up Democrats! You couldn’t be doing better a better job for us with this sort of thing.

The government that is afraid of its citizens will do anything to control them.

Isn’t it interesting to watch the “progressives” try to sell the idea that the “deranged right wing extremists” are being used as the tool of some big organizations. They are appalled by the notion that some people might meet and ride to a meeting together on a bus, yet it is fine with them when it is their own people who take the buss out of town to attend a meeting.

Here is the e-mail letter sent out Sunday:

    Dear xxx,

Join our group of Washington and Multnomah County Democrats as we take the Bus to McMinnville to support Congressman David Wu and healthcare reform. We’ll be going to McMinnville early in the afternoon to support the Congressman in what is expected to be a town hall packed with tea party hecklers and other disruptive protesters.

As you know, Congressman Wu and our other congresspeople are back home this month and doing a series of town halls to solicit feedback on healthcare reform. Nationally and here in Oregon, they face mounting pressure and attacks from special interests against meaningful healthcare and insurance reform. It’s critical that make our voices heard just as clearly, but with civility and respect.

The Bus will leave our office parking lot (12250 SW Broadway Avenue in Beaverton) tomorrow (Monday, August 10) at 2:30pm. There will be a small cost of $3/person to cover the cost of transportation to and from McMinnville. If you can join us on the Bus tomorrow, please rsvp to [email protected] by 8:00pm tonight.

If you decide to drive to McMinnville by yourself or with others, the town hall begins at 5:00 and the address is: McMinnville Police Station 121 SW Adams Street
    McMinnville, OR 97128

Plan to arrive early, bring supportive signs and posters, and remain civil and polite at all times.

If you are unable to make this town hall, please consider attending the following Wu town halls that are also scheduled this week:

    August 11, 12:00-1:00

Good Samaritan Hospital, Building 2 Auditorium; 1040 NW 22nd Avenue, Portland

    August 13, 4:00-5:00

Seaside Public Library; 1131 Broadway, Seaside

    August 14, 4:00-5:00

Columbia Learning Center; 375 South 18th Street, St. Helens

I hope you’ll be able to join us tomorrow and at the remaining town halls this week to show our support for our Congressman and meaningful healthcare reform.

    Karen Packer
Chair, Democratic Party of Washington County

Pathetic! Why don’t these POLS listen. Most of these pissed off folks are not organized, they are simply “fed up”. I am a lifelong Dem (recovering) & Teamster and I am very “fed-up”. The silent majority has awakened.

I want to know where the birth certificate is too!

It’s amazing to me that these crowds are so vilified by the left, yet apparently it was ok when:

    – Ann Coulter had a pie thrown at her at the University of Arizona
    – Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minutemen project, was pushed off the stage at Columbia University by students throwing chairs and pushing and shoving
    – President George W. Bush was interrupted by Code Pink protestors at least five times while giving a speech at Monticello.
