Oregon “Short Session” ends – 77th Legislative Assembly

by NW Spotlight

Oregon’s 77th Legislative Assembly adjourned the 2014 Regular Session “Sine Die” at 5:00pm today in Salem.

This 2014 Regular Session was the shorter session of the 77th Legislative Assembly, lasting about a month. Last year’s 2013 Regular Session was the longer session, lasting around six months.

There had been speculation the session might run into the weekend, but the Legislature was able to conclude its business and adjourn today.
