UCC tragedy: No solution if we misidentify the problem

Ignoring the deaths of thousands while at the same time exploiting the deaths of a handful is not the answer

Solving the problem will never happen if we continue to misidentify the problem.

Facts are available, statistics are clear and yet many jump on a popular bandwagon of achieving a goal while pretending to be solving a problem.

I am very open to a discussion on how we can reduce mass school / theatre shootings.

At the same time we can have the discussion on how we can help prevent mass killings in our inner cities all across the country. These killings occur on a weekly basis and have in many cities doubled and even tripled in the last few years.

There is no simple single answer but it is clear that ignoring the deaths of thousands while at the same time exploiting the deaths of a handful is not the answer.
