Not again! Oregon gas up nearly 40-cents in 1 week

Oregon gas prices have spiked by nearly 40-cents in one week.

They pin the blame on refinery fires and scheduled maintenance.

As of 9/26/22, AAA puts Oregon gas price at nation’s 4th highest.

You can thank Oregon’s high gas tax and Oregon’s hidden gas tax (Low carbon fuel standard) for the high price.

This is why Oregon (and California) have been paying more than the national average for many years.  That adds up!

And lawmakers refused to vote on a bill this year that would allow self-service gasoline statewide.

This would have lowered gas prices and helped the labor shortage.
