Sales tax, anti-petition votes continue anti-voter wave

This week the Senate and House voted to approve HB 2082 which makes it twice as hard to qualify a petition for the ballot – despite broad opposition form both conservative and liberal organizations

Yesterday the Oregon Senate passed HB 2530 that creates a task force to study “tax reform”, otherwise known as a SALES TAX. The people have said no nine times to a sales tax — yet it is being thrown in the face of the public again in the form of a task force.

The voters approved landowner compensation twice — but the Legislature has referred out a measure to gut Measure 37. The voters have three times affirmed the Double Majority law and it too has been re-sent back to voters (HJR 15) in hopes of weakening it.

The will of the voters is being steamrolled by the Legislature.

The Oregon voters have decided that the useless people in charge of their government, should be in charge. What more is there to say?

They are worse than useless. They are very dangerous along with being very stupid.
