Homeless burn down bar. (it saw 8 fires/year)

Homeless vagrants set fire to an abandoned bar, Farmers Barn Tavern, in Portland.

Here are some key facts,

• The closed tavern was a hotbed of homeless squatters, looters, drug dealers.  As seen below.


• 8 fire department calls were made at the location in 1 year period.
• Homeless chopped down neighborhood trees to make fires inside
• The fire caused electricity to be shut off for the neighborhood
• In January, residents begged Portland City Hall to do something
• Paperwork problems prevented the City from acting on the abandoned building.
