Portland smart cars cost double

What a pathetic defense of spending $25,000 for a car they could have bought for $11,000 in just a few months. Ask the fellow making the purchase, if it was his money for his car would he have waited? The likely answer is “yes” which shows the cavalier approach to spending “other peoples money” by this city. The silence of the Mayor and City Council just confirms this continuing lack of common sense and care in dealing with taxpayer money.
