The film Sound of Freedom just hit theaters.
Sound of Freedom is based on the true story of Tim Ballard — played by actor Jim Caviezel. Ballard quit his job as an US government agent in order to devote his life rescuing children from global sex traffickers.
This film is people-funded to make it happen. Close to 7,000 people invested between $10 and $25,000 each as a crowd-funded backers of this film. They raised $5 million in two weeks.
Advance ticket sales show $10 million already sold. This shows that the film has legs.
It hits upon a terrifying subject of child trafficking and its uncanny growth in the world. This is a subject we need to hear more about.
