Would You Like to Be Invisible to Hillary?
It’s a Rhetorical Question

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is running a TV ad that is pure socialism. Here’s the text:

As I travel around America I hear from so many people who feel like they’re just invisible to their government….You know if you’re a family that is struggling and you don’t have health care, well you are invisible to this president. If you’re a single mom trying to find affordable childcare so you can go to work well you’re invisible too….Americans from all walks of life across our country may be invisible to this President but they’re not invisible to me and they won’t be invisible to the next president of the United States.

So, we’ve gone from the land of the free and the brave to “why doesn’t my government see me? I’m nothing unless my government sees me.” So we’re all children and government is our nanny. Hillary’s campaign doesn’t even try to sugar coat the message.

Many of you may be asking, “Can I be invisible to my government?” Absolutely. Simply send a letter to the Internal Revenue Service that reads:

Dear IRS.

I am now invisible. Since you can no longer see me I would appreciate it if you would kindly stop taxing me.

I only wish government was invisible to ME but the crazies and the fools are trying to take over our lives more and more each day.
They are BAD people – both parties – and have hurt more than they have ever helped.
I have never been so disappointed in local, state, and national government people. They are so crazy that I can not even begin to understand them.

Socialism, what socialism? All the ad is saying is that the existence of people without access to health care is a national problem and that the widespread lack of affordable is also a national problem. Both of which she is aware of and are being ignored by the current administration. This ad does not offer solutions for these problems nor does it even say she will address them, all it says is she sees them.

David, your comments made yesterday about health care were not very carefully thought out. If you had thought it out carefully and did some research on government run health care, you would change your tune. I don’t think the government and 99.9% of the politicians went to medical school. Most of them can’t even run their own lives and you want them running yours. It isn’t the Presidents position nor is it the responsibility of our Senators and Representatives to baby sit us. Their responsibility is to run the government. We can, at least I can, run my own life. Can’t you/

Well, what did you expect, the guy is from Eugene.

Wow its amazing that she can see something that the leftist media won’t shut up about. She must have some special abilities

      I do

“Pure socialism” — ROTFLMAO!!! See, this kind of comment demonstrates why the RepubliCON Party is increasingly MARGINALIZED and is on its way to the dustbin of history. It has been taken over by the extreme right-wing loony toons who believe anything that might benefit ordinary working Americans is “socialism.”

Here’s a news flash, folks: Health care — or more accurately the lack of it — is of HUGE concern to a great many people in this country, and the label “socialist” doesn’t scare ’em as much as it used to.

  • dartagnan

Anonymous 2.1, that is a remarkably stupid comment, even for a RepubliCON.

Do you know that the administrative overhead for that EEEEEEEE-vil “socialist” program called MEDICARE is substantially LOWER than that for any private insurance program in this country?

Do you know that under our glorious, non-“socialist” system, Americans spend more per capita on health care than ANY OTHER NATION in the world?

Do you know that medical bills are the NUMBER ONE cause of bankruptcy in the United States?

Now tell us all about the SUPERIORITY of our system to those EEEEEE-vil “socialist” systems.

The RepubliCON Party: Last Refuge of the Dumb and the Deluded.

I really love how some 19 year old whose bills are probably still paid by mommy and daddy can think he has a clue about anything.

Everyone, I repeat, EVERYONE in this country has access to healthcare. In spite of constant leftist lies to the contrary, a hospital cannot turn someone away because they cannot pay.

People who go bankrupt from medical bills do so because they chose not to buy medical insurance. Bankruptcy is a device of the middle and upper class. If you are middle or upper class and choose to get yourself a new SUV or a plasma TV instead of medical insurance, you will get what you deserve.

If you are poor, there are tons of free healthcare services available. A dumbass slut former co-worker of mine never paid a dime in healthcare costs and got free prenatal and medical care for all four of her illegitimate kids long before the Oregon Health Plan.

We spend more on health care than the rest of the world for two reasons:
      1. We’ve got the best, most advanced healthcare in the world. All those gadgets and medicines that save our lives don’t come cheap.
      2. We have more lawyers per capita than any other country in the world. Doctors order tests and procedures they would never order based on diagnostics simply to cover their asses. Last time I checked medical malpractice insurance was running upwards of $200,000 a year – another cost that is passed along to the consumer so scum like John Edwards (probably your personal hero) can enjoy $100,000,000 bank accounts and 30,000 square foot mansions.

Sick rich people from all over the world come here for treatment. They are not flocking to Cuba, Canada, Sweden, the UK or anywhere else with socialized medicine.

In the UK, where socialized and private medicine exist side by side, anyone who can afford it, and many who can’t, opt to pay out of pocket for private medicine. Maybe it’s just that they don’t want to be treated by terrorists with bogus third world medical degrees, but I suspect its because they actually want quality treatment and to get well.

If you want socialized medicine, move to Canada. Of course, Canada only takes immigrants with skills who can contribute to society, so that lets you out. I do wish you luck, however. As someone who spent almost half his life living under socialized medicine in Canada I couldn’t think of a more appropriate fate for any American in favor of socialized medicine. Of course, like thousands of Canadians, we’d see you in the U.S. seeking treatment from our “broken” system the second you got seriously ill.

Of course, I could be completely wrong – maybe you’re a thirty year old whose bills are still paid by mommy and daddy.
