Lars Larson: AG disregards local scandals to sue Feds nonstop

NW and national radio host,

Could we please get the folks who run for political office to focus on doing their actual jobs after they win?

Oregon’s new Attorney General, Dan Rayfield, seems to think his job includes filing lawsuits challenging national tariffs and international trade.

I don’t remember that in the job description for the state AG.

You know what DOES fit?

Legal charges of official misconduct and influence peddling against former Secretary of State Shemia Fagan, who took 10-thousand-dollar-a-month payments from the weed merchants at La Mota.

That fits.

Or charges against Tina Kotek for using half a million dollars stolen from FTX investors to fund her run for Governor.  No one’s been charged in that one.  He could also go after New York City resident and U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, who engineered that illegal donation for Kotek.

Or, he could go after freshly minted Portland City Council member Mitch Green for coercion, extortion, and official misconduct for his threat to withhold city funds from PSU if the University doesn’t drop all charges against the students who destroyed the PSU library.

I’m sorry.

I forgot.

Fagan, Green, Kotek, and Wyden all belong to the same crooked Oregon Democrat Party Rayfield belongs to, which makes them immune from prosecution.

Ain’t one-party rule amazing?
