Lars Larson: About the Big Beautiful Bill

The Northwest Nonsense

President Trump’s “big, beautiful” budget bill passed out of the house early this morning. It includes some major cuts I’ve waited years for.

Medicaid gets whacked 800-billion dollars over the next ten years…and the cuts come in the best places.

People in America illegally…they’re OUT of medicaid. The program that covers 1 person in 5 in this country. A program set up to help the poor shouldn’t go to illegal aliens. If you disagree with that, call my talk show a naysayer.

Deadbeats get cut too. Able-bodied, working-age Americans must work at least half time or be in school to get Medicaid. Congress figures that change alone cuts millions of freeloaders from the program.

Doctors who genitally mutilate kids with drugs and knives won’t get paid by Medicaid under the changes.

The law also targets shyster states that put big taxes on hospitals to inflate the cost of healthcare so they can get bigger payments from the federal government.

Here in the real world, that’s called insurance fraud.

The bill now goes to the Senate for a vote and it should pass if Republicans maintain their backbones.

That’s the Rose City Rap. Join me at noon on KXL for 4 hours of Honestly provocative talk. I’m Lars Larson
