Lars Larson: Our Mayor’s riot moment

The Northwest Nonsense

Portland already saw the massive damage a pro-protestor Mayor does to a city.

Now, we wait to see whether its new mayor will do any different, and so far, signs are not good.

Six years ago, Ted Wheeler publicly took the side of rioters laying siege to the headquarters of Immigrations and Customs enforcement.

He announced he supports the anti-ICE cause and would let them break the law. Even when they did break the law, Wheeler said the criminals would face no criminal penalties.

That set the tone for today’s anti-ICE nonsense in a residential neighborhood.

Over the weekend, a video appeared on social media. A black disabled resident of the South Waterfront neighborhood came out at midnight to demand some quiet from the Antifa thugs.

“We the people need sleep” she screamed. I don’t blame her.

They told her to go F herself, declaring that their righteous cause to stop enforcement of America’s immigration laws takes precedence over her right to slumber.

Portland downtown, just north of the ICE riot, has been devastated.

It’s signature bank tower is being fire-saled at 20 percent of its former value

It’s newest hotel, the 800-million dollar Ritz Carlton is in bankruptcy.

Mayor Keith Wilson shows all the signs he plans to prove his own insanity…taking the same route as Tear Gas Teddy, and expecting a different result.
