Sen. Wyden invites Border Czar to town hall

Senator Ron Wyden had best be careful what he asks for. I guess it’s “fool around and find out”.

Wyden has invited the Trump Administration’s border czar to join him at a town hall next month.

Tom Homan promises to double and triple down on Sanctuary cities like Portland, where local law enforcement has been ordered NOT to cooperate with the enforcement of America’s immigration laws. Homan visits next month.

Maybe it’s the fact that Wyden makes his home in New York City, 25 hundred miles from the state he claims to represent, that leaves him so out of touch.

He claims that ICE has deported, in Wyden’s words, “key members of our community, essential workers and entrepreneurs”. This is the same guy who claims that the illegal aliens sheltered by sanctuary cities only do the jobs Americans WON’T do.

So, which one is it?

Meanwhile, Wyden’s fellow Senator, Jeff Merkley, went the opposite way, demanding that Homan stay in DC… bizarrely suggesting that a visit from one of America’s top law enforcement officials would only lead to trouble.

I’ve talked to Homan for years, and I know what he’s likely to tell these two boobs.

He intends to enforce the law and safeguard communities.

For some context, illegals make up maybe 4 percent of Oregon’s population…but represent 14 percent of its convicted murderers in prison and 18 percent of its rapists.

Let Senator Wyden take a swing at explaining how allowing an invasion of millions of illegals serves the citizens he claims to represent.
