Think about the liberal progressives who march in the streets, claiming they’re protecting and preserving democracy.

That same bunch went to Salem this past weekend, and shoved through the single largest transportation tax increase in Oregon history.

That vote came after 4 thousand citizens testified on the tax hike, 94% of them in opposition.

4.3 billion in higher taxes and fees over 10 years to fund a bloated ODOT.

The same ODOT that makes billion dollar budget boo-boos and starts projects that grow to 300-percent of their original cost.

The same agency that held Oregonians hostage by threatening to stop road maintenance and snow plowing in winter if they didn’t get their cash.

Democrats responded to that blatant extortion by agreeing to pay the ransom…with your wallet, of course.

Thousands of citizens took the time to tell them “no”.

And then lawmaker democrats spit in those citizen’s faces and did it anyway.

If they didn’t, labor unions that cash in big time from those ODOT contracts would cut off the democrats campaign donations.

Remind me again, which party promises to protect democracy?
