Here are nine people who have posted online their walking away from Leftist politics.

“Sad news. Charlie Kirk has passed away and i can say I am no longer a Democrat at all. The moment where you can’t have a simple debate, right? or when you can’t go on a college campus without getting shot. It’s crazy. Then I go to the comments, and these people are sayng “what a great job, [let’s] go on to the next” type-of-deal…. You want to be the party of ‘Let’s all come together and Let’s be peaceful. You guys are not peaceful people at all.  You actually wanted this guy to die. You incited people to do this. This is ridiculous. The moment where we cannot have a clear debate. Game off.”

“So far, I’ve seen videos of just the left being pro-unaliving political opponents, whether that be Trump, JD Vance. People are celebrating what happened to Charlie Kirk today. It’s just disgusting behavior. The fact that I have been a part of the left for seven years, I never thought to get to the point where I would have to look at my own party and be like, “Oh, hold on. I can’t support you anymore because everything that you are doing right now is against your political viewpoints and your values and beliefs. To sit here and promote gun violence against your opponents is wrong. And it arguably makes you worse than the other side because you’re basically saying these people deserve to be unalived because our political beliefs are more important and should stand and should have more value than a human life.” (remmyrkr link here)

“The Kirk thing kind of put the nail in the coffin for me being a Democrat… I just noticed like certain things like the way that the conversation would be shut down by calling somebody a name or calling somebody a bigot. It’s like okay, and why am I a bigot just cuz I disagree with you? Like I can disagree with you and still not want anything bad for you. I just disagree. And it’s like you know, oh you’re personally committing violence against me if you disagree?? It’s like, that’s a copout! And I would notice certain things like that. I would notice that I was being intentionally angered every four years so that I would go out and vote…Oh, if you don’t vote this year, this thing is going to happen and everything’s going to be taken away. But then the next year, none of those things would happen. So, I was just being gaslit every single time.”

“I would vote both ways. Going forward, after today, and seeing how liberals and leftists and Democrats are acting towards this, I am never voting Democrat again ever again. For the rest of my life, I will always vote Republican. I don’t care. I grew up without a father. Charlie Kirk has two innocent children who will not remember him or have very vague memories of him. As somebody without a father, I can tell you for the rest of my life, there will always be a hole in my heart the shape of my father. Now, my father left voluntarily. Charlie Kirk didn’t. And those children will never get to meet their father. His daughter doesn’t have a father to walk her down the aisle…AOC could die tomorrow, and y’all know how much I don’t like that woman. And I would still be upset for her family and conduct myself in a respectful manner because I’m not evil”

You lost me. I’m all RED now. When you celebrate and rejoice in the murder and assassination of someone giving a different POV [point of view] than what you’re used to in the colleges these days? “I want to say this. I was raised a Democrat. I’m black. It’s that’s just it. Even though Nigerian culture is very conservative, if you’re black, you vote Democrat. That’s what you know. And then in 2023, I started asking questions. Something just didn’t feel right. I started asking questions and I quickly realized that the Democratic Party is ran as a cult. You’re not allowed to ask questions. You’re not allowed to like even have an opinion outside the one everyone has. You have to walk in unison with everybody else. And their language is violence. And it doesn’t have to be just what we just saw with Charlie. Even just in conversing with them, it’s immediate violence, name calling, abuse. I mean, violence 24/7.
