Oregon’s “do nothing but still get paid” legislature meets, again, today.

But their biggest decision gets put on hold for more weeks.

Consider the track record of these democrat party losers.

They meet for more than six months this summer and don’t get the job done.

So, Governor Tina Kotek calls a special session for Labor Day, a classic, sneaky way to hide the ball.

Once again, they didn’t get the job done…and thank God they did not. The single biggest tax increase in state history landing on citizens already battling the bad economy state government has created.

So, they put off the vote for two more weeks, till today, but still getting their per diem pay at 180-bucks a day times 90 members. Do the math.

Today, one of those democrats…Chris Gorsek…is still ill and they need his vote to pass that massive tax…so that gets delayed two more weeks, at least, with the paychecks still gushing taxpayer green.

I have an idea. Take the vote…do it now…with the votes you have…and let the tax idea die. Kotek can then actually do her job…tell ODOT to live within its meager 7 billion dollar budget…and if it doesn’t, fire the bad managers and hire someone who can get ‘er done.

That is, if Kotek isn’t too busy dealing with her own domestic problems and taking vacations. Who does she think she is? Joe Biden?
