Petition update 11/12: Still awaiting paperwork approval to circulate

The state referendum petition to refer to voters the massive gas tax is still going through the paperwork approval process.  When Governor Kotek announced that she signed the bill on Friday, she knew that Tuesday was a Federal Holiday and that would slow down the Elections Office paperwork approval for when citizens launch a petition referral.  Under any referendum process it can take 1-3 days to get approval to circulate.   This is normal for everybody and the Elections Office has been timely and true on their responses.
