Rep. Boomer Wright won’t re-run (HD #9)

State Representative Boomer Wright sent this email message,

“Constituents, colleagues, supporters, and friends, I need to inform you that I will not be seeking reelection for the District #9 House of Representatives position. I thank all of you for the support, friendship, advice, and opportunities provided over the last 3 terms. I have truly enjoyed my time working as your State Representative and it has been an honor to represent District #9 and all Oregonians in Salem. I would also like to announce my full support for Claire Lynn in her run for this position in the upcoming election. Claire has significant legislative experience in Oregon and Washington DC, was raised on the coast, understands Oregon politics, and is an incredibly hard worker with coastal common sense and a positive attitude.Over the next year I will do everything I can to complete current projects through 2026 and work to support those who will take over my duties in 2027.”
